OMG..this book, as I mentioned on another substack, is incredible! “Finally,” I said to myself, “Someone who understands how the bubbly, nubbly, creative mind works! It would take me FAR too long here to “count the ways” that I love this book. I finally feel as if I’ve gotten to know you through this treatise. It is unflinching and unsparingly revealing in its vulnerability and truth-telling. I thought that kind of approach to whatever this life is was gone, long gone…but I see that it is not. It is astoundingly alive and well! Hallelujah!! Mazel Tov!❤️👏

Thank YOU. This book is too wonderful not to share with as many people as I can. I hope you realize how uncommonly amazing it is, and a balm to anyone who has ever entertained a running dialogue with herself during a difficult time. I don’t say that to minimize your experience, nor your strength and courage…but to let you know that I learned a lot from you about self-acceptance, even at my age! PS…I also learned something about the Real Real…and Revlon lipstick😉!

She is a brilliant and bright light in this world. The book is such a liberating read after such a painful challenging experience from start to the trials. Showing the absurdity of this terrible time.

Ravishing, restless, and very ready—

I just reached Chapter 5 and finally got my hands on the audiobook. Phenomenal!!! E. Jean’s voice in my ears is like being handed a lit match and told to run. Yes, I’m with you.

Fully. Loudly. And in Zebra print.

Dear E. Jean, look fabulous in every kind of print—zebra included. Thank you for gifting us your book and for being the fearless role model you are. I adore you for your courage, your unshakable spine, and your refusal to bow to that narcissist. You remain the only person to ever hand him an official defeat—and I salute you for it.

PS, just to tell you, I got my weekly letter from someone (her name was Tink, I am not kidding) thinking I am Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary. She wrote:I just love seeing you in the press conferences to our Country!! You are by far the smartest, classiest, and Beautiful press Secretary in my lifetime (I am 67 yrs old) You know what you are talking about. You are always sooo prepared, and it shows. I love the way you hold command of the reporters and you take no guff!!! Keep it up !!! My husband and I love you and know that you will be successful at anything you do!!!

I wrote her a response calmly telling her I was NOT Karoline and giving her factual information about why poor Karoline is not very bright and is very misguided. She wrote back for me to MIND MY OWN BUSINESS.

Could you be any more fantastic? What a fantastic model for little girls and grown woman. You know I keep thinking about that film, ALFIE, where Michael Caine is a typical asshole man using women, until he falls at love at the end, and is hurt himself, and is changed when a strong woman stands up to his bullshit. There was a Marlon Brando film like that, too, One Eyed Jacks. BUT that is a fairytale! MEN LIKE HIM, MAGA men do not change because they don't want to change.

I forgot to mention, talk about the birthday present that Trump deserves. Perfect timing.
