E. Jean Carroll put herself and her story into the narrative of our times in a way that just might make a difference. Or at least get us pointed more resolutely in the right direction.”
The narrative of our times E Jean Carroll!!! Go “girl”!!!
It was such a good day. You looked so beautiful coming out the doors of the courthouse: vital, resilient, in full bloom and Incredibly well moisturized. I strolled, and am strolling vicariously, on air.
Of course they did. To the chagrin of the Velveeta Voldemort’s attorney, even the TFG’s voter thought so, as the vote was unanimous.
Don’t we all think it’s lovely that history will recall that the end of the beginning was Stormy Daniels, and now here we are with Fani, Letitia, and EJean? Women will save this country. And I don’t want one minute of mansplaining on this. Not a nanosecond.
You’re inked into the history books now, E Jean, and here’s to your unequivocal triumph over the king of the weasel-people. It’s sublime. You’re sublime. The sublimest. Well *fucking* done.
I’m a lawyer and I I could not believe how quickly the jury came back. As Lawrence O’Donnell said last night that only happens when they believe absolutely nothing presented by one side. That speed, almost more than the ultimate verdict, is your vindication. I’m so happy for you.
I cried when I watched the verdict. I am so thrilled for you, and have so much respect for your bravery and resilience. I've been reading you forever, and you deserve happiness and peace. You give of yourself so much. When I watched you leave court, I said "GO GIRL!" out loud. YOU ARE BELOVED.
Congratulations!! What a triumph, E. Jean!! Bless you for your bravery, poise, confidence, and especially for telling the truth. You’ve established new standards against sexual violence and created a font of hope for women to draw on going forward.
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS FOR ALL WOMEN AND MEN WHO HAVE BEEN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED!
You are one helluva dame.
xoxo
