…when a correspondent writes in—anonymously—and says she’s being “sexually harassed?” For the last 29 years people have been writing questions to E.Jean@AskEJean.com or EJeanCarroll@gmail.com and never in those 29 years have I ever revealed a name or an email address of a letter-writer. In 2004 I created a way for readers to write to me anonymously. Our letter writer today chose to be anonymous. I am happy she wrote to me and I have spent days thinking about her; yet, because I created this anonymous link to be so anonymous that even I can’t see the writer’s email—in fact, by design, her email is deleted— I can’t email her back.
