“When they call you brave, they really mean you’re crazy.”

The terrifyingly brilliant New Yorker writer, Daphne Merkin, has just published an essay about the glorious heyday of women’s magazines, and the thing is so delicious, so hilarious, so fabulous, I was drinking it down like mother’s milk, when I ran into this quote from her agent.

“When they call you brave, they really mean you’re crazy.”

Peerless Reader! Hahahaha!

Since we are ALL crazier that hoot owls, tell us about the time(s) they called you brave—when they meant you were crazy.

And about the time(s) they called you crazy when you were acting brave.

And …..BONUS….

…. about the time(s) you were, in fact, weirdly, wonderfully, outstandingly crazy!
