Two years ago, I stopped by the home of my fiancée and found her in bed with another man. We were planning our marriage when this happened. Needless to say, we ended the engagement. Ever since then, I've been extremely afraid to date.
My confidence is almost nonexistent. I'm afraid of getting hurt. I'm also afraid I won't be able to trust women again.
My family and friends are constantly telling me to get out there! Go on Tinder! But they just don't understand. I'm a relatively good-looking guy, tall, athletic, intelligent, a chemical engineer, and nobody believes that I'd have any problems asking women out. How do I get through this?
