I will choose the 8 most intriguing, engrossing, delightful, harrowing, wild, mild, jubilant, depressing, flabbergasting, nonchalant, heartbreaking, hilarious (and Oh So Brief) memoirs…..and the “crazy 8” will join me for a STORY TIME ZOOM!!

Miss Streisand, of course, spares NO detail in her memoir, My Name Is Barbra. (I recommend the audio version—she sings, laughs, burps, yawns, streeeweeeeches, sighs, cries, moans and RE-WRITES as she goes! Trust me. Go with the audio!)

But when I met her last Thursday when she was awarded the “Jewish Nobel”—the fabled Genesis Prize—by the by, the illustrious Robbie Kaplan brought down the house introducing Miss Streisand—I felt “My Name Is Barbra” could have been nine thousand pages.
